Our active commercial business. Karama trades, supplies, and distributes refined petroleum products and crude oil derivatives across global and African markets. Our model spans trading and distribution, refinery access, storage and blending, and wholesale and downstream — an integrated fuel supply chain operated commercially.

Oil and Gas is a core long-term pillar of Karama's platform. We are developing capability and commercial positions across Oil and Oil Derivatives, LNG, LPG, biogas, pipeline oil and gas, and oil and gas trading. For example, Africa holds close to 18 trillion cubic metres of proven natural gas reserves — the continent is simultaneously a major exporter and a market with vast untapped domestic potential. Gas is one item that will be the defining transition fuel for Africa over the next two to three decades.

Africa's power deficit is both a structural challenge and a long-term investment opportunity. Karama is developing positions in power generation — across gas-fired, renewable, and emerging technologies — and in grid transmission infrastructure. A specific transmission project is currently in preparation as part of our funded infrastructure programme.

Chemicals are deeply connected to our refining, trading, and infrastructure capabilities — derived from crude oil and gas, essential to manufacturing and agriculture. Karama's chemicals business will develop across commodity chemicals trading, industrial supply, and production as our broader platform scales. This is a long-horizon segment with significant long-term strategic value.

Infrastructure is where a trading company becomes a durable energy business. Karama has a structured pipeline of acquisition and development projects underway — spanning storage terminals, pipelines, refineries, logistics hubs, power projects, and chemical facilities. These are funded opportunities in active preparation, not aspirational targets. Karama monitors and develops positions in the energy technologies that will define the next generation of the industry. This includes modular nuclear reactor technology, biogas, hydrogen, advanced energy storage, and other emerging clean and transitional energy solutions. We approach this with commercial discipline — we are looking for real investment opportunities, not technology advocacy.
